With a ski checklist you won't be left out in the cold during your next ski adventure. Arriving at the slopes without your goggles can be downright blinding, not to mention those goggles you'll have to replace at the resort will cost you an arm and a leg.
Of course you're anxious to carve the slopes, while catching some air so your mind isn't focused on the essentials that can turn an otherwise exhilarating ski trip into one you'd like to forget. So here's a skiing checklist to easily help organize your ski gear and make your next experience an amazing one to remember.
Ski Equipment
Unless you are renting your equipment, the first thing in your ski checklist is to grab your skis, poles and boots. Look them over and try them on to be sure they're in proper condition, and then set them right by your door or better yet in your vehicle. Stuff an extra pair of socks inside your boots.
1. Skis and optional carrying bag
2. Ski Boots and optional carrying bag
3. Ski Poles
Ski Bag or Backpack
Then grab your ski pack. These large and roomy bags are specially designed to conveniently organize and carry all your ski gear with dedicated sleeves and easy access outside pockets. And if you don't already own one, check it out.
1. Ski Backpack
2. Ski Belt - A convenient option to wrap around your waist while cruising the hills to hold and insulate
water bottles, cell phones and additional items.
Ski Accessories
Let's get packing!
1. Goggles - And don't forget your sunglasses.
2. Helmet - Always protect yourself against injury with one of the many cool styles available.
3. Hat - Whether you prefer a hat, band or beanie, cover your head and ears from the harsh wind and
cold. Consider a style that conveniently fits under your helmet.
4. Gloves - Don't forget to bring an extra pair in case one gets wet or lost.
5. Gaiter - A face mask that protects and keeps you warm and comfortable.
Ski Clothing
It's time to set your wardrobe out layering your pieces in the order you'll wear them. Also dress in layers for optimal warmth and comfort. If you get too hot simply peel the layers off. A ski checklist for clothing includes:
1. Inner Layer - Socks, tees, and tights
2. Mid-Layer - Lightweight, breathable hoodie or jacket
3. Outer Wear - Heavier, element resistant jacket and pants
Miscellaneous Items
These are the little things that you can't forget because they make the difference: lip balm and sunscreen, maps and tickets, mobile phone, camera and other gadgets, and finally, the almighty dollar.
Stress Free Skiing with a Ski Checklist
Eliminate the stress with this ski checklist. You'll have everything you need and ready to go - exploit the mountains, trick the moguls and race the slopes in confidence. Oh, a final reminder - once you have your ski bag packed, don't forget to set it by your entrance with your ski equipment. Enjoy yourself and have a great, memorable skiing adventure!
